Calling, Lead User Experience Architects!
I am looking for a Lead User Experience Architect to work within an agency
environment. Based in Mayfair, this role will involve planning and scoping
activities for complex multi-stream projects. You will be integral to pitch
preparations, and involved in presenting to stakeholders and writing
This opportunity is intellectually stimulating because you will work closely
with clients to define their requirements, from planning, running workshops,
documenting output and writing strategic documents. You will also be engaged
in the ‘hands on’ element too. You will produce IA documentation (which is
more creative and visually orientated than more technical documentation)
including Axure hi-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, user journeys, sitemaps
and heuristic reports.
You will think from an analytical perspective about customer satisfaction.
This includes assessing performance by measuring customer response, ensuring
any piece of content of functionality developed meets the highest standards
of usability, and thinking deeply about what platforms are strategically
advantageous for the client to generate the best customer response. On the
other hand, you must be highly creative. Placing User-centric principles at
the heart of your design concepts, you will create engaging experiences for
users – producing user types/scenarios, IA, navigation systems, user
journeys and wireframes.
In terms of the actual product, the agency is essentially an independent UX
arm of a company that is a global provider of end-to-end video management
software and services. The business has a cloud-based video asset management
system, which enables media & entertainment, network operator, and non-media
enterprise clients to produce, manager and to deliver live and on-demand,
socially-enabled video screens from any source to any screen. There are huge
opportunities to also sell-in the benefits of UX within a project, of which
you will develop the digital experience strategy from pitch to delivery.
The agency is currently a small UX team however they have ambitious plans to
grow the UX offering. You will essentially contribute to the growth of the
business model. In terms of the working practices, the world is your oyster
in terms of building creative solutions for the client. There is an army of
technical and site development gurus to assist in building those design
concepts into workable applications.
If you are keen to get more involved in developing digital experience
strategy, managing a team, formulating innovative design concepts with the
assistance of world-class experts within a global network then please send
your cv and portfolio to me at dean_at_zebrapeople.com
