My client connects people, projects, and products across the design and
construction industry by creating the trusted tools, resources, and services
provided to construction professionals for more than 100 years. Currently,
they are in the process of designing several new online applications and
tools and need a solid visual/graphic designer to create the GUI in a clean
Swiss style esthetic for their online applications, workflow tools and
intranet. This 6 week contract (ready to start in less than 2 weeks)
requires skills in designing for applications and is not a good fit for
someone who has done mostly marketing sites. It is critical that the person
in this role understands and has worked with User Experience professionals
and can take direction from the contract Information Architect. Hourly
rate is commensurate with experience and a link to your portfolio or samples
should accompany your resume.
