Next week, I'll be teaching a class on prototyping at Smart Experience
in New York City. This class is for anyone who either is new to
prototyping or has been doing digital design for a while and wants to
add prototyping to their toolbox. The course is half
lecture/discussion and half workshop. We'll be looking at lots and
lots of case studies, as well as doing actual prototyping production.
You'll learn how to develop a prototyping strategy for your given
project, as well as how to pick the best prototyping tools for your
needs and skill set. Additionally, course participants will be
encouraged to bring actual design challenges they currently are facing
and use that as a basis for their work in the prototyping workshop.
Prototyping tools we'll be looking at will include several of those
discussed on this list, such as Axure and the forthcoming Adobe
Thermo.
I'm really excited about teaching this course, as well as being part
the Smart Experience experience :)
