Certainly very useful.

The thing I wonder about things like Wikipedia though is that it's hard to
tell when exactly it becomes a 'product'. Year it was launched? When it
reached a certain (arbitrary) size? When some event catapulted it to
fame/infamy? When we can all agree on its significance/impact?
