Not to say anything about the actual viewport (browser window minus chrome)
available, interaction patterns being followed, page vs. partial page
refresh ratio or, god forbid, the design of what's being viewed: line
lengths, number of columns, white space, how text wraps around images, etc.
Who can be bothered by such small considerations, when stats, hard numbers,
facts and best practices beckon us. Virginia, we need an eye tracking
device! 1024, 99% baaad.
