OVERVIEW
The User Interface Visual Designer will be a founding member of the newly
created and growing user experience team. The ideal candidate will be a
highly motivated graphic designer experienced in creating the visual assets
of web-based software applications. Expertise in web technologies,
especially CSS, is highly valued. Due to large acquisitions, this role will
be integral in creating a consistent look and feel across the variety of
acquired brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Extend the company brand to the visual design of multiple applications
. Write detailed visual design specifications
. Create application splash screens
. Create and maintain Cascading Style Sheets
. Design icons and maintain icon catalog
. Create user interface mockups and prototypes
. Assist in documenting user interface standards and design patterns
. Optimize artwork for web delivery . Manage multiple concurrent visual
design projects
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
. Expert in visual design for web-based software applications with 3+ years
experience
. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite . Expert in CSS and knowledgeable of
other web technologies and standards . Strong written and verbal
communication skills
. Self-directed, well organized and detail oriented
. BFA, Masters preferred
Compensation package includes base salary and excellent benefits.
