Yahoo gets my vote. Not only for its longevity, but also for its
ability to constantly expand and innovate in interesting ways. Even
its acquisitions (Flickr, delicious (add in your own periods
somewhere), etc) are interesting. Few are doing as much with RSS as
they are.

Its design, while not mind-blowing, is consistently better than any
other site used by hundreds of millions. Its information architecture
and interaction design are for the most part strong. I can always
find what I need and can use what I find. No other site I can think
of weaves so many threads of data together so seamlessly.

It has its problems, sure, and some missteps, but 11 years out, it is
still a web juggernaut.
