Yes. We are currently using WebSideStory's HBX to log Taxonomy paths
used on one of our intranet sites. This intranet site is partially used
to provide a Knowledge Management solution by supplying content
categorized in taxonomy nodes that model the our business. We use a
custom report and custom code to generate the report. Every time a user
selects a node in the taxonomy we send this data to HBX. This allows us
to generate reports which list the nodes of the taxonomy that have been
accessed most often or least often. If a resource is opened within a
node we also send the resource and the node to HBX which allows us to
report on the resources that have been accessed and which nodes they
were opened in. HBX tracks navigation through pages with no custom
coding - our taxonomy is displayed through one dynamic page so we use a
custom report. HBX is a commonly used analytics tool.
