Distillation is hard... and important. However, I think it is a stretch to say
that if I have bullets I necessarily have gone through the mental effort of
distillation. I have suffered through many PowerPoint presentations that were
anything but distilled, or well thought out. I think this goes back to the
original complaints that started the thread: The problem isn't inherently with
*PowerPoint* but with those who use it as a crutch and think pretty slides will
make up for a lack of forethought. Some feel that the *presentation* trumps the
message. It does not! (at least not for long).
