[Sigia-l] University of Washington Executive Information Management program

From: Everett, Andy (EveretA_at_wsdot.wa.gov)

As a graduate of this program, I wanted to pass this along to anyone
interested. The program concentrates on information organization, managing
information within your organization , search and retrieval. The program
allowed me to make a shift within IT from Network Management to
Information/Data Management. The Information School snagged Mike Crandall
from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to chair the MSIM program. Mike
brings in his knowledge of enterprise metadata management as well as search
and retrieval. He brings in a wealth of knowledge from the Foundation as
well as Microsoft and Boeing. He brings real world experience and conveys it
well as an instructor in the program.

The University of Washington Master of Science in Information Management
Executive program has extended its application deadline for the 2005-2006
entering class. If you're in the greater Seattle area and are interested in
furthering your education in the strategic use of information within your
organization, this might be an opportunity for you to explore. You can get
more details at the web site-
