RE: [Sigia-l] pull-down menus and intermediate pages

One of my sites uses a javascript dropdown menu that has active links to the
main category page as well as subcategory pages. The client originally
wanted the subcategory listing to appear when you clicked or rolled over on
the main category (in other words no page specifically for the main
category). We changed this primarily for accessibility reasons (screen
readers, javascript disabled browsers), but also, because it is an
educational site, to give further detail what to expect on the subcategory
pages. The dropdown subcategory menu is activated when the mouse rolls over
the main category. If you click on the main category, it opens a page that
describes the subcategories in detail with links to those pages. Or you can
click on a subcategory to go directly to that page.
