In regard to George Schneiderman's posting about courtesy...
I'm new to this list just this week. I must say, my initial impression was
that the postings on this list are much more aggressive than those on most
other lists to which I belong. I don't find that intimidating myself, but
can understand how some people would. However, it is off-putting and doesn't
encourage anyone to participate. The whole idea of discussion lists like
this one is to have a friendly dialogue with like-minded people and to
provide a resource of knowledgeable people upon which one can call for help.
It's all about sharing.
