Yes, yes Ziya, we're all well aware of your dislike of anything
"corporate" that you feel might impair your creativity, however, i'm sure
you're being a little hypocritical - your very profession (i'm assuming
you're in the IT/Web field) is possible due to "standards", posting on
this list is only possible because of "standards".
Standards (as previously pointed out) are very valuable - not to constrain
people or curtail creativity, but to a) improve the predictability of an
interface/product and therefor increase its usability and to b) improve
the efficiency of a team (don't keep reinventing the wheel).
Lets not get all extreme on this, however, I think we're all experienced
enough to recognize that there is a balance that needs to be achieved -
too many standards is just as bad as no standards at all.
