It's not that *you* need another organization to belong to, but that *he*
needs another organization to self-promote. But you knew that.
The unprophylactic proliferation of job titles during the dotcom years
eventually exposed the absurdity of it all. My only hope is that the current
craze of "organizationing" (to coin a perfectly awful term :-) will likewise
run out of gas soon.
