I would *love* to test. It is not an option. It's part of the reason I
appealed to this group. I don't want this to end up as a battle of wills
and I'm willing to conceed my position if I've artificially latched on to
a solution.
Maybe that's the better question. Do you all have tricks for taking a step
back? I firmly belive negotiation is a big part of my job. I try hard to
not sell one solution, but the best solution for the situation, knowing
full well there are multiple possibilities.
In this instance, I feel as though I've reached a point where the
alternate solution being presented is bad. It is not a matter of x verus
y, but that y is down right bad for the novice user.
Anyone care to share how they solved a similar situation? Because I know
that most of you have faced it.
