Hey, Google wasn't the first search engine on the block. It was quite late,
in fact - 1998. If the other search engine folks can come up with something
more useful, I'll use that. Remember the days when Altavista was king? Then
it went into "portal" mode, trying to become everything to everyone. That
screwed them and now they're back into search engine mode. Their indices,
however, need a lot of updating.

Unlike Microsoft, there's no lock-in. You're free to use any other search
service on the Net. So the comparison to Microsoft doesn't work.

Me... I love my Google Toolbar.
