This being the end of the week, and in the spirit of Watson (web services)
and NetNewsWire (RSS), here's another nifty web app on OS X: Comictastic.

It auto-downloads/subscribes to your daily comic strip from among 150
choices from newspapers, magazines, syndication services, etc. It's also
freeware.
