[Sigia-l] User satisfaction vs. dissatisfaction ratios for unsolicited feedback

From: Richard Law (rlaw_at_cisco.com)

I believe it has been shown that unhappy (unsatisfied) users will provide
negative feedback far more often than happy (satisfied) users provide
positive feedback for a web site.

If users are given a method to provide unsolicited feedback (e.g., a
feedback link on a web page), will that feedback usually be negative vs
positive?

Does anyone have any stats or reference information on a user satisfaction
vs. dissatisfaction ratios for unsolicited feedback?

Thanks!

Richard
