Okay, I found out that Evite doesn't have very usable URLs...they only 
work for one user.  You have to dig into some lower areas to find that

Anyone attending the CHI conference this year,

I was talking to Lou Rosenfeld yesterday, and we thought it'd be a good 
idea to continue the tradition started by SIGIAers at CHI last year.  
We had an informal IA gathering in Seattle at CHI 2001. Attendees 
included Lou, Peter Merholz, Keith Instone, and lots of others.  The 
plan is to get a bunch of SIGIA folks together to meet and talk about 
whatever comes to mind. There might even be a pint or two that get 
tossed back in the process.

Wednesday is when the "hospitality suites" happen, and I think 
discussion will likely migrate from the IA social hour to any number of 
the vendor suites afterwards.

Please respond ASAP via Evite if you're interested.  That way we'll 
know how many people to plan for when finding a place to gather.

We thought Wednesday would be best to avoid having it the same night as 
the main conference reception on Tuesday.  Typically many people are 
leaving town by Thursday evening.
