The 3rd annual IA Summit, in Baltimore, MD March 15-18, provided a great
opportunity to do some thinking about the practice of IA (the topic was
"refining our craft") and stirred some real debate about the role and
validity of research when it comes to web design and usability. We'll have
a debrief / recap of the summit-geared both to folks who weren't there and
those who attended, and then we'll talk about research; whether and what
kind is needed, what works, what doesn't work.

**This meeting is being held in a private house & is a BYOB affair. We'll
provide some chips/sodas**
This meeting should be easier for the loyal contingency who has been
traveling from Raleigh, Greensboro & Chapel Hill but we hope that plenty of
folk from Charlotte will make the trek.

from Charlotte.
