RE: SIGIA-L: radio button-like checkboxes (was Right-hand navigat ion)

| Here's a little interaction design puzzle I stumbled on while
| looking at the right-hand navigation on www.audi.com:
|
| The "Build Your Audi" feature on this site is pretty nifty
| ("Mmmmm, Audi TT....")...
|
| To start building an Audi, go to
| http://www.audiusa.com/configurator/exterior/0,,1____,00.html

Ok, build your own Audi, I'll bite. :)

But where the heck is the configurator? In my browser history, I now have
*three* Audi sites: audi.de, audi.com, and audiusa.com. The navigation
behaves differently in each and I don't see a configurator in any of them.
Where'd you find it, Michael?

And for further food for thought for the group, what do people think about
making things consistent among global sites? (Yes, I read German, so it is
plausible I'd want to look there as well as on an English site.)

$0.02 on a sunny afternoon...
