As for research I found interesting: I always like research that comes up
with new metaphors and categories to help me think about websites.
For example, the work on information foraging at Xerox Parc helped me
better understand how people use the web by providing a useful metaphor to
think about it. Work by Geert Hofstede on cultures helped me by providing
useful categories to think about cultural differences.
