I'm familiar with a bunch of engineering categories such as chemical, civil,
mechanical, electrical, software, etc., and what it takes to become one. I'm
having a difficult time imagining how the 'engineer' designation gets
attached to 'usability' to create the specter of a white lab coat parading
the corridors.
