I have a similar experience....

Front end design (she says, avoiding other specific labels) has been our
business at Cognetics for 20 years. We've been through a variety of
technology changes and an evolving process as well as changes in labels for
what we do, but the core of the work has remained the same - creating an
excellent, usable user experience.
