There is an opening for an information architect at Indiana University in
Bloomington, IN.
Z19INFORMATION ARCHITECT (PA12) Communications and Marketing
Position #: Z19 The Indiana University Office of Communications and
Marketing (OCM) seeks a talented, creative-minded information architect. As
a member of the IU Web team, the information architect will define site
structure; develop taxonomies and organize information; create site maps and
navigation systems; create wireframe prototypes; and lead a team of writers,
designers, and programmers to create Web sites that will communicate
effectively to support student recruitment and retention on all IU campuses.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in information science, human
computer interaction, or related field; two or more years direct experience
in Web development or technical field; strong knowledge of site design and
usability principles, issues, and techniques; strong client presentation and
communication skills; creativity; and the ability to work with a team.
