The gang at http://xplane.com/ do a pretty neat job of that sort of
thing. Hopefully we all do!

Subject: RE: SIGIA-L: Net Applications
I'm looking for good examples of outlining a complex business process
simply to a new customer. Can anyone point me to examples? Those
with graphical representations and cues would be particularly helpful.
My client's site fails to engage new customers. As well, the client
has a particular need to enable lower-volume customers to be
self-serviceable. I believe this requires a high-level explanation
of what customers can/need do (as well as a detailed explanation).
I'd especially like to come up with a system (made up of graphics,
numbers, or other cues) that can introduce the steps of the business
process, and later serve as a reminder of next steps.
Thanks in advance for any advice and/or examples you can share.
