Subject: New resource on terminology / Nouvelle ressource sur
la terminologie
The National Library is launching a new web page on terminology used in the
federal government of Canada (http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/8/4/r4-280-e.html). It
includes links to thesauri, classification schemes, controlled vocabularies,
geographic names, subject clusters and taxonomies.
In addition, we have also included links to compendia compiled by experts in
the field, construction and management tools, related research and projects,
as well as standards. If you check back in a few weeks, you will see
additional resources listed because this is an ongoing list, and by no means
complete. If you have a thesaurus or other links for inclusion, please
contact me (Fay Hjartarson, fay.hjartarson_at_nlc-bnc.ca). Your comments and
suggestions are most welcome.

La Bibliothèque nationale procède au lancement d'une nouvelle page Web
consacrée à la terminologie utilisée par le gouvernement fédéral du Canada
(http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/8/4/r4-280-f.html). Cette page comprend des liens aux
thésaurus, des systèmes de classification, des vocabulaires sélectionnés,
des noms géographiques, des groupes de sujets et des taxonomies.
De plus, nous y avons également ajouté des liens vers des recueils compilés
par des experts dans le domaine, des outils de construction et de gestion,
des recherches et des projets connexes, ainsi que des normes. Si vous y
revenez d'ici quelques semaines, vous y trouverez encore de nouvelles
ressources, puisque cette liste ne cessera d'évoluer et qu'elle ne sera
jamais complétée. Si vous aimeriez qu'on y ajoute un thésaurus ou un lien en
particulier, n'hésitez pas à communiquer avec moi (Fay Hjartarson,
