It is a free and banner-free mailing list archiving service.
I use it for the Psychology of Programming Interests Group's
discussion mailing list:

It's very basic: you can't remove archived messages and the
user-interface is very simple but the hosting is solid.

If nothing else, it's a short-term solution until a permanent
home can be found.
