While that's certainly a laudable goal, I can think of many instances
where this would pause significant technical and security issues. Without
getting too technical here, the structure of dynamically generated URLs
containing session data, encrypted parameters, etc., disguised as
directory hierarchies (by many existing app servers) would make this very
costly to implement or downright impossible.
In general, I wouldn't want to formally encourage the usage of URL
foraging as a means to navigate a site by the average user. This reminds
me of the issue of sitemaps...just kidding :-)
