SIGIA-L: IBM EZCalc woes

Hi all,
I know we've seen some discussion here and on CHI-WEB about automated
card-sorting tools. I'm hoping someone else on the list has run into the
same problems I'm having with EZCalc (the analysis part of IBM's beta EZSort
tool)
With the supplied sample data, everything is fine (users sorted around 50
cards).
With my card sort data, everything is not fine. Some background: Users
sorted around 100 cards in a semi-closed card sort (they could combine top
level categories). These sorts were conducted using paper, and now I'd like
to use EZCalc for analysis.
The problem is that whenever I go to analyze the data, I get an Out of
Memory error...even though my system resource usage doesn't change i.e. the
problem is in the program.
I can load the record file, but as soon as I try to generate a cluster I'm
screwed.
Any thoughts? The thought I'm having most often lately is "how can I get
Excel to run a cluster analysis?"
The specific error is
Run-time error '-2147024082(8007000e)':
Out of memory
Please reply to me offlist, and I will summarize.
thanks,
Jess
