I was able to attend the Microsoft XP launch event today (anyone else who did, elsewhere, please chime in). I also got to meet the Visio Product Manager. Although we're still on a "he'll call me" basis, he did sound excited to hear of our group and the feedback we can provide their developers (currently working on version 11 -- Visio 2002 is considered version 10). Those attending the event received a 30-Day Trial version of Visio 2002.
The product manager did specifically ask for any .vss files we'd be willing to share (I have a couple). I hope to be able to get the developers into our dialog "firsthand", eventually, as well.
I'm willing to serve as the "liaison" of product enhancements for Visio (provided I ever get "the promised call" from the team).
