To all:

Just spent the day at an awesome seminar on user research sponsored by the
ACD here in Chicago (http://www.ac4d.org/events/ev_seminar.asp). A couple of
grad students from the Institute of Design were spreading the word about a
project they're working on. Here's their announcement:

"The Institute of Design is developing a comprehensive index or taxonomy of
human-centered design and design research methods. The Human Centered Design
Methods Index will catalog examples of best practices in the application of
innovative methods for understanding the individual, social and cultural
aspects of human interaction with designed systems.

"This resource is intended to serve practitioners like you. Please support
us by providing feedback on our initial prototype before May 21.

"Visit us now at: http://www.id.iit.edu/hcdmi/feedback and if you have
questions or would like more information on this project, email Jay Melican
at jaym_at_id.iit.edu."
