I am looking into hiring 2-4 in the coming week as full time contractors who
may possibly be hired as regular employees. The following is a brief
overview of what I am seeking. If you have questions, please do not

Job Description:
Work collaboratively in cross functional teams to assess the data
attributes/taxonomy needs for units within the Graduate School of Business.
The Taxonomy specialist will play a key role in defining standards for data
attributes and data folder taxonomy structure for the content management
system.
Qualifications:
The ideal person will have a master's degree in library/information science,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience in content
organization, cataloging, and retrieval. Will have had experience in
taxonomy/classification/category/thesaurus development for a content
management system. Strong sense of content organization and effective
communication skills required. Information and/or data architect of
directory structures. Experience with relational database design and/or
development. Will have had some experience designing and/or developing
websites. The ability to deliver under tight deadlines, while working in a
highly complex technical and organizational environment is critical.
Location:
Stanford Graduate School of Business(Bay Area, CA).
No telecommute.
Duration:
Contract 6 months, possibly for hire.
