I agree with Jason.

I often use the Back Button, especially when it comes to completing multiple
renditions of the same on-line form, or ordering multiple items from an
e-commerce site. This keeps me from having to re-type the information I've
just included.

I also use it to save time, jumping back to another page where I now want to
be. This can be because I finished my task at hand, or because I didn't find
what I wanted. Either way, right-clicking on the back button to jump back to
previously hit sites is a wonderful, time-saving tool, that I utilize to the
fullest.

Of course I'm just relaying personal experience here. No hard case studies.
But I do know that my entire department uses the Back Button in much the
same way I do.
