Yes... I think this is an important enough area that it should be perhaps
explored even outside this thread. I wonder if using something like e-groups
would be good? So that we could share documents, screenshots, etc. more
easily?

Don't use egroups! I have used it as part of another group I am involved in and
people constantly missed messages sent to the email list that was set up and/or
the messages were not posted to the Web. It was enough of a problem that we
finally abandoned egroups altogether.
