see really discussed on this listserve - b2b. Yeah, it's true, there's a

hype about these unknown beasts. At my firm we're building marketplaces,
and
what really drives info arch and design more than anything else is
identifying
current workflow in a business system and either translating or retooling it
for
web-based applications.
I totally agree. I worked on a B2B technology site and the IA was geared
towards work flow. A project workspace was created to support the decision
making process. The functionality was based on how well it would support the
decision making process for purchase; decision making by several people or
departments.
