Folks on this list might be interested in the ACM joint Hypertext/Digital
Libraries 2000 Conference to be held in San Antonio in June (see details
at: http://www.dl00.org/). This conference will cover lots of topics
related to web design, information architecture and hypermedia. In
conjunction with the conference there are a number of tutorials on design,
evaluation etc. (I shall be teaching one on human factors in interface
design and evaluation on Saturday, June 3rd that will cover the
determinants of user responses to interfaces, basic evaluation techniques
such as cognitive walkthroughs, and quick statistical analysis of user data
to determine design decisions).
