Book and Article Reviews: What We're Reading

Simply an opportunity to invite participation by members of the community through soliciting their reviews of relevant books, etc. This should be very easy for a loose group of volunteers to pull off.

One thing to keep in mind - a more formal organization sponsoring book reviews can often get review copies from the publisher. So while we can start with people interviewing books they've already bought or were planning on buying, a more formal publication venue can let us review a wider number of books, and let people get some reward for reviewing....

Folks interested in writing reviews should contact the folks at the forthcoming Boxes and Arrows journal, where there will likely be a reviews department.

I recently updated the reading section on elasticspace. We desperately need a community review writing resource, even just a few words of introduction are enough to give a little context.
